That you would feel like you were always sacrificing something or someone...
That overwhelm from life’s demands plus the extra mental load you carry would push you into shut down mode! And how you'd feel guilty about needing to rest.
That brain fog and fatigue would make even simple tasks feel like swimming through molasses.
And that “having it all” would be harder to juggle than your keys, cell, phone, water bottle, purse, computer bag, and umbrella as you try to get in and out of the car on a rainy day without falling on your butt or breaking your ankle in your very cute, but impractical, high heels.
You probably don’t need a scientific study to tell you that all of this PLUS hormonal imbalances will eventually lead you to a breaking point.
You might be here because:
You’re on a fertility journey or preparing for birth and want to feel calm, capable and grounded.
You’re navigating perimenopause or menopause and suddenly everything feels more intense, harder, or totally out of control. You FEEL different, and it's hard to get through the day without biting someone’s head off or bursting into tears for no logical reason.
You’re doing “all the right things” and still feel anxious, irritable, or exhausted.
You’ve done therapy, read the books, gained insight. You understand what’s happening, but that understanding hasn’t shifted anything.
I work with women navigating life transitions — fertility journeys, birth preparation, midlife shifts, and career changes — addressing the anxiety, overwhelm, stress, and persistent patterns that are no longer working, but still remain long after the mind understands what’s happening and why.
We address what insight alone hasn’t shifted, supporting change at the root rather than trying to manage it from the outside in.
Insight is valuable. Awareness matters. Traditional therapy methods are helpful.
But most anxiety, pain, overwhelm, and emotional reactions aren’t conscious choices, They’re automatic responses stored in the subconscious part of the brain created by decisions and coping strategies made at a young age. These coping strategies once worked to keep you safe, but now they've outlived their usefulness and are actually causing damage and pain.
Hypnosis works where those responses live.
Research has highlighted how hypnotherapy can produce meaningful change in far fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy alone. Not because it’s magic, but because it works at a deeper level.
This doesn’t mean hypnosis replaces therapy. It often works beautifully alongside therapy — especially when you’re tired of understanding the problem but still living with it.
Mind control - if it was, my kitchen counters would always be clean.
Being unconscious or asleep. That's a totally different brainwave state.
Amnesia
Truth serum
A state you can get stuck in
A state of physical and mental relaxation that allows you to create change starting at the subconscious level.
A way to work directly with your nervous system and subconscious patterns
A powerful tool for problem solving and creating meaningful, long-lasting change.
And your system finally gets a chance to stop running the same old loops by recognizing, on a deeper level, why they aren’t working anymore.
Hypnosis can be helpful for a wide range of issues, including:
Anxiety, overwhelm, chronic stress and other emotional patterns that don’t respond to logic alone
Sleep issues and nervous system dysregulation
Pain management
Midlife transitions and identity shifts including perimenopause and menopause-related issues
Fertility-related anxiety and emotional support
Hypnobirthing and birth preparation
If it involves your mind, body, habits, or emotional responses, hypnosis may help.
My approach respects the reality of change. It is:
Collaborative and client-centered
Trauma-aware, without digging for the sake of it
Flexible and adaptable to your life as it actually is
Empowering, compassionate, and direct
In our sessions together:
We don’t force change.
We don’t bypass what you’re feeling.
And we don’t sugarcoat reality.
I help you stop fighting yourself during change and learn how to move through it with more clarity, calm, and trust in your body.

Hypnosis is still one of the most misunderstood and under-utilized, yet extremely successful therapeutic modalities available. This is due in large part to the entertainment industry’s hijacking of hypnosis for Vegas shows, horror flicks and comedies. Nothing could be further from the true nature of hypnosis than the Hollywood version.
No. It is a deep state of relaxation where the conscious mind takes a backseat and allows the subconscious to communicate directly. While in trance, you're capable of responding physically and verbally, and generally, you remember everything that's said. If you do happen to fall asleep, it's simply because you became so relaxed your body and brain responded to the need for rest. The good news is your brain still absorbs all the positive hypnotic suggestions!

No! You are in control of your trance the entire time. If for some reason, we are disconnected during an online or phone session, you will simply open your eyes and come out of trance as soon as you are ready.
Have you ever had a dream where you were not sure if you were awake or asleep? Or maybe you drive the same route to work or the grocery store for years, and one day you leave home, and all the sudden you are at your destination with no recollection of the journey there? These are examples of trance state.
Trance is a brainwave state that can be scientifically measured by Electroencephalogram (EEG). Science has discovered 5 main brainwave states so far:
1) Beta – or the logical, thinking mind.
2) Alpha - a relaxed state when you are aware of the world around you, but your eyes are generally closed.
3) Delta - deep sleep.
4) Gamma - a high frequency state of hyper focus and productivity.
5) And Theta, that deep meditative state where the subconscious resides. Up until about the age of 7 we are in a constant state of Theta. We are learning sponges, and once our subconscious learns something, it accepts it, and commits it to memory. Our subconscious handles everything from how to breathe and digest our food, to how to tie our shoes and our religious and political belief systems. Once our subconscious has accepted something as fact, it seeks out corroborating information and rejects anything contrary.
The best way to create change is to get back into our subconscious, into the Theta brainwave state, and challenge the beliefs that no longer work for us, and create new neural pathways, the ones we want to have. That’s when real, lasting change occurs.
We all move in and out of various states of trance throughout our day, (e.g. highway hypnosis and daydreaming) so everyone has the ability to be hypnotized. However, just like change, hypnosis can only happen if you are a willing participant.
As far as being weak minded, in my experience, as long as you are invested in change, the stronger, more creative, intelligent or inventive the mind is, the greater the success!

There is no blood test for ADHD, a true diagnosis can only be made through a battery of tests administered by a licensed professional. However, you may have already wondered if this diagnosis would fit just by looking at patterns and behaviors in your life compared to what you have read online.
Many girls with ADHD go undiagnosed because their "flavor" is not the "in your face" hyperactive kind that would cause a ruckus. In fact, many aren’t diagnosed until well into adulthood because we (yes, I say “we”, because I have ADHD – the non-hyperactive kind) are so good at adapting, or masking, and doing the generally socially acceptable thing, we fly under the radar. But maybe you were the girl who “talked too much”, or blurted out the answer without raising her hand, or couldn’t always wait her turn. Or maybe you got bored easily and found yourself staring off into space rather than focusing on the work at hand because your thoughts had gone down the rabbit hole like Alice? You might have had undiagnosed ADHD.
Another reason women get diagnosed later in life is because Estrogen is a key ingredient our ability to "mask". It plays a role in the production gives us oxytocin, dopamine an
ADHD could also look like a bunch of projects or hobbies you were very excited about, but never finished, or got bored with. Or being so overwhelmed with possibility that you don’t know where to begin and give up before taking the first step. It could also present in many, many other ways, and it brings along friends like Depression, and Anxiety.
No matter your flavor of ADHD, and no matter what methods you have or currently are using to treat the symptoms, some studies have shown that hypnosis can be effective in alleviating the symptoms of ADHD, and the friends it likes to hang out with, and the changes seem to last over time even better than other therapeutic modalities.

Anxiety is a mental health issue most people will deal with at some point in their lives. Some people deal with it every day, to the point it becomes debilitating. Anxiety can center around specific fears or phobias, like public speaking or fear of flying, or it can be more generalized, like social anxiety. Managing anxiety normally takes a multifaceted approach that includes everything from therapy, meditation, food choices and physical activity to - potentially - medication, and, if it’s your jam, a spiritual practice. Hypnosis has been found to be extremely beneficial in the management of anxiety and phobias. As many of these anxious feelings start in the subconscious, a good place to address them IS, well, the subconscious.

Have you ever wondered why we are so self-critical? Where did these limiting beliefs come from? Why do we hold ourselves back from achieving what is possible in our lives? It’s that niggling little voice inside our head that tells us we are not good enough, or we will fail, or we don’t know enough. Our inner “mean girl”. She may speak in our own voice, in the voice of a middle or high school bully, or a parent, or someone else entirely. Whoever she is, she actually has a purpose. She is trying to keep us from experiencing pain. The pain of failure, or embarrassment, loss, or a myriad of other possibilities. All of this is happening on a subconscious level, and is usually based upon some past experience or trauma that created a feeling we decided we never wanted to experience again. So now, our subconscious is keeping us small.
It is completely possible to get past these limiting beliefs, but it does take more than “the power of positive thinking” on the conscious, or Beta brainwave, level.

Many of us struggle with figuring out how to fulfill all the roles society claims we are supposed to do seamlessly without sacrificing anything, including in our own sanity. Oftentimes, we are the first thing we sacrifice.
